How YTD.APP handles data
This policy describes the data used to operate the downloader, enforce free limits, secure accounts, process payments, and improve reliability.
Last updated August 5, 2026
Privacy at a glance
- We process a submitted public URL and selected format to provide the download.
- Stripe processes card details; YTD.APP does not store complete payment-card numbers.
- We do not sell personal information.
Data we process
When you use the downloader, we may process the submitted URL, source platform, requested and available formats, timestamps, download status, IP address, user agent, and security signals. This supports delivery, daily limits, debugging, and abuse prevention.
If you create an account, we process account identifiers such as your email and authentication ID, together with download credits, access history, and plan status.
Payments
Stripe processes payment details and sends us transaction identifiers, status, product, and limited billing information needed to activate access, prevent fraud, and support purchases. We do not store complete card numbers or card security codes.
Cookies and local storage
We use essential browser storage for authentication, security, preferences, and quota continuity. Analytics or performance tools may use identifiers to help us understand aggregate usage and fix reliability problems where enabled.
Service providers
We share only the data reasonably needed with infrastructure and service providers that help operate YTD.APP, including hosting, database and authentication, payment processing, security and rate limiting, analytics, and download-processing providers. These providers process data under their own contractual and legal obligations.
Retention and security
Operational records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for service delivery, accounting, disputes, security, and legal obligations. We use access controls and technical safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
YTD.APP and SnipLume
YTD.APP and SnipLume are distinct products. If you separately use SnipLume, creator and workspace data is handled in that product context. Account identifiers and entitlements may use shared infrastructure, while each product keeps a separate purpose and interface.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of eligible personal data. You can also sign out, clear browser storage, or stop using the service. Legal retention requirements may limit some deletion requests.
Children, changes, and contact
YTD.APP is not directed to children under the minimum age required to consent to online services in their jurisdiction. We may update this policy and will revise the date above. Privacy questions can be sent to support@ytd.app.
